Our Story
Narai Intertrade Co,.Ltd. was established on October 6, 1989 by Mr. Vassilios Lathouras and his wife, Ms. Wasna Roongsaenthong, with a registered capital of one million baht. With Mr. Vassilios' background knowledge, they commenced a business of electronic apparatus and mechanical gadgets trading. After flourishing well for a period, their business encountered problems from a lack of product availability. Mr. Vassilios’ response was to initiate a new business of textile products and accessories.
In 1993, a new factory was established, employing 15 staff members who operated 15 sewing machines. The manufactured products were then sold in a tiny two square meter store in Narai Phand.
Since then, business has been flourishing, and NaRaYa’s growth has been rapid. Today, we have a workforce of over 3,000 employees and are cooperating with more than 4,000 makers in the countryside to produce our high-quality products.
1989
Narai Intertrade Co., Ltd. was established on October 6, 1989 by Mr. Vassilios and his wife, Ms. Wasna Roongsaenthong.
1996
Narai Intertrade Co., Ltd. registered the trademark NaRaYa. NaRaYa is a word In Hindi language, meaning Phra Narai or commonly known as Vishnu - the great god of the Hindus. This name was chosen because of its positive meaning, and easy pronunciation in several languages.
2006
Narai Intertrade Co., Ltd. Increased registered capital to 90 million baht and built a head office on Chaengwattana Road, Nonthaburi Province.
2008
Established 2 factories in Laluat District and Lamplaimat District, Buriram Province.
2011
Opened a factory at Phra Lap Subdistrict, Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province.
2016
Opened 1 distribution center at Bang Kradi Sub-district, Muang District, Pathum Thani Province.
Today
Currently, NaRaYa exports to many countries around the world. There are 15 retail shops in Thailand. NaRaYa has proven that small businesses can achieve great success both locally and internationally.

Our bags are not only manufactured by our in-house factories, but we get the Thai local community involved in the production, providing them with livelihood and training them to improve their way of living. At the cornerstone of NaRaYa'ssuccess is our concept of social responsibility.
